The audible range of the human ear lies between 16 Hz and 20 kHz. The emission of solid-borne sound of nearly all machine installations are within these values. Human beings perceive them as a source of disturbance. The AirLoc vibration control pad reduces these disturbances and separates them from the disturbing element. Measuring results confirm, depending upon statical conditions of the building, kind of machinery and suitable AirLoc pad type, a reduction of sound level values of approx. 3-7 dB(A). In nearby rooms/ facilities better results can be expected.
