"The Fountains Country Club is a private, 900-member golf and tennis club within a gated community, so we definitely needed a ceiling product that had an elegant appearance," says Leslie Karen, director of purchasing, The Fountains Country Club. "Acoustic control — reducing noise levels — was the other extremely important consideration. We have an older member population and a dining room full of windows. Excess noise is a potential problem. We looked at various acoustical tiles and fabric ceiling coverings, but none came close to the distinctive elegance and noise reduction characteristics of CONTOUR. This new ceiling dresses up our award-winning formal dining room beautifully, and our members are very complimentary about it."
CONTOUR Wall and Ceiling tiles are available in 10 different designs and 10 standard colors that can be used alone or mixed and matched to create unique patterns. The Fountains' formal dinning room, Grille Room dining area and lobby included two different patterns in custom-colored "butter toffee" to create a design unique for the facility.
CONTOUR Ceiling Tiles have a backer board for stability and are easy to install in drop-in grid systems. Noise reduction coefficients (NRCs) range from 0.95 to 1.20. Ideal for both new construction and retrofitting — CONTOUR tiles are appropriate for many environments, including ballrooms, meeting facilities, conference and board rooms, offices, entertainment facilities, call centers and customer service departments, lobbies and entryways.
